Travis is a 25 year old self proclaimed geek, and will argue for hours about how much better OS X is than Windows. He also can and will go on for days about how iOS is better than Android. He is a former hobbyist Danger hiptop/T-Mobile Sidekick developer who had a mild success in 2009 with his 'Video Recorder' app. He has plans to one day get into iOS development ...but that hasn't happened yet. Travis is a foursquare Level 3 Super User, and once owned a Microsoft KIN. When Travis was a child, he was shown the movie "WarGames" and blames that event for everything that's happened since.

Turntable.fm Button
So, as you saw in my last post… I kind of have an obsession with Turntable.fm. But, I quickly realized while listening to ttfm via my Xbox that I wasn’t participating in the crowd… a pretty integral part of the experience. I’d try to take a second or so break and vote, but it was just too clunky and slow with my mouse. Usually resulting in a death while playing the Battlefield 3 beta.
I started to think about ways to participate and figured I could do something with my swiss army knife Arduino. I was right… Kind of.
Turntable.fm on Xbox360
Turntable.fm has been my favorite source of music lately. Great tunes, great community, and the awesome/lame buttons ensure I don’t hear the crap I don’t want to hear. (Sometimes.) But, I can’t get Turntable everywhere and that’s disappointing to me. (Windows Phone 7 App anyone? Seriously. SUATMM.)
Specifically, I love to listen to music while I’m playing Xbox. Lately I had just been ignoring the audio from my xbox all together and listening to TTFM exclusively. This made my gameplay suffer, quite a bit. (sorry Kyle) I began to obsess over how to get Turntable into my xbox.
